I started this blog because I was inspired to do so by John Chow. I like the fact that he's pretty transparent about how he makes his money and advises other people on how to do the same. So far, the only thing I've been able to emulate about him and his blog is documenting what I eat. Here are some pictures of meals I have eaten, but never spoken of.

I barely have any subscribers and I have little to no traffic to speak of. It's annoying as hell. Granted I had some server problems, but that's all resolved now.

I think part of the issue is that I haven't quite found a niche for this blog. I named it as such because I wanted enough traffic to bring the server to its knees, but I guess I'm not all that interesting to anyone. Or maybe the things I talk about really don't resonate with people.

I think I need to start thinking more evil. I need to start thinking about what skills I have that give me an advantage over the typical blogger. I think my writing is acceptable. I have a tendency to ramble, but if I'm focused, I can have moments of eloquence.

Now that the quarter is almost over, I need to start adding some art to this site. Creating illustration is the only leg up I have on these established guys. I also need to create illustrations for stories that resonate with the people with whom I want traffic from.

I am excited about this. I'm off to do some sketches.
